Life Groups

These classes offer a consistent Bible study on Sunday mornings that helps lay the foundation for a belief in God and faith in Christ. The classes all use Lifeway curriculum that systematically teaches age appropriate biblical materials. Well trained friendly teachers that love the Lord and children teach God’s message of Jesus Christ faithfully each teaching session.

Treasured Ones

Treasured Ones is our Life Group class for our preschool and children aged individuals with special needs.  We provide a safe, secure class with qualified, well-trained teachers.  These teachers lovingly care and teach our "Treasured Ones" each Sunday morning.

Worship Childcare

Childcare is offered to preschoolers birth through age three. It takes place any time we have a regular worship service. The children are taught and cared for by workers that love to work with our precious gifts from God.

Children's Church for Preschool

"Kid's Kingdom" is an age appropriate interactive preschool worship style with large and small group activities offered during the 9:15 a.m. worship service for children ages 4 thru Kindergarten.  "Kid's Kingdom" is located in the Children's Ministry building on the 1st floor.  Come join us as we worship KidStyle.

Joyful Noise is a program of worship, praise, discovery and games on Wednesday nights from 5:45 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., September thru May.  The program is open to Children who are 3 by September 1, 2010 through 5th grade.

Our younger kids will get to start their music experience in a choir that is just right for them!  They will learn in all different ways how to praise God through music!  We have large and small group activities that teach Biblical truths and musical concepts.  We play instruments and have purposeful movements to help them experience those concepts.

Our older children, 1st-5th grades, will praise God with their voices, musical instruments, and drama.  They become part of a team as they learn to present the gospel in song and drama.

Mission Friends is an activity for 3's thru Kindergarten children.  Sensory experiences and activities introduce the preschoolers to missions as they move their focus from self to others.  Preschoolers learn about missionaries around the world who tell people about God's love.

Parent’s Night Out

This activity is for our parents who have children from birth through fifth grade. Parents can enjoy a night out without having to worry about their children. The children will be cared for at the church where they will have fun participating in preschool/children’s activities that let them just be kids.

Summer Programs

Summer children’s programs include regular Wednesday night activities that study the scripture in creative ways. Programs are planned to help the children learn in a structured fun atmosphere. Special events on campus and off campus are planned throughout the summer for children birth thru Kindergarten.

Parent Child Dedications

Once a quarter the church sets aside a special time in the worship services to dedicate children and their parents. The parents receive a special certificate and New Testament for their child during the service and the pastor prays a special prayer for the families.

Vacation Bible School -  June 6-10, 2011

Vacation Bible School is a wonderful fun-filled week where children age 5 (as of 8/31/2011) thru 5th grade (completed) concentrate for five days on God's Word and His plan.  A thematic approach to the week creates special decorations in the church and gets teachers and children excited about God's Word.

What:  MOPS is an exciting interactive program for mothers of children birth thru Kindergarten.

When:  First and Third Wednesdays of each month during the school year, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Where:  Kingwood FBC Third Floor
